Bioethics Committee

About the Committee

The Bioethics Committee (BC), is a body tasked with overseeing and approving biomedicine and behavioral research on people, with the goal of securing their rights, as well as, their physical and psychological integrity, while they participate in said research. The Committee approved research consists of clinical trials, safety and efficacy studies of new drugs and dietary interventions, studies of personal and social behaviors, opinions and habits or even health system studies.

The Bioethics Committee of Harokopio University was introduced in 2001 (26th Academic Senate/18 – 5 – 2001)
