E-SERVICE FOR THE STUDENTS AND THE FACULTY

Academic Identity Acquisition Service

Students

From 24/09/2012 undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral students of all Greek Higher Education Institutions in the country can apply electronically for a new academic identity.

The new identity possesses better durability and security against forgery. In addition, it is designed to be valid for as many years as a student studies and to cover multiple uses, in addition to the Student Ticket (Pass). Identities will be delivered to the receiving point chosen by each student when submitting his application, free of charge.

The new IDs indicate the exact validity period of the Student Ticket entitlement. In case the student is not entitled to a Student Ticket, the card is a single identity card.

Each Institution can use the new identities to develop new services and applications to better serve its students.
